My family played an important role in shaping me into who I am so far. They are always there for me, educating me, guiding me and giving me the support I need. I am growing up in an environment where sport is part of the everyday life. Volleyball, baseball, softball and soccer are the sports that are mostly cherished in my family. As a little girl I had to watch my mother, aunt and nephews play volleyball when they come together and I could not play because I was small. When I became a little older I joined them. My dad saw my interest and dedication to the sport and contacted the president of the local volleyball federation. He referred me to my current volleyball club and now I am playing for 6 years with my club.

I have a strong willpower. I like to finish what is started and also enjoy to motivate others to keep on going whether it means winning or losing. So I always do my best knowing that I can win or lose. Either way, I never give up.
