As a freshman, I earned a starting spot as the Setter on my high school varsity volleyball program. I was the only underclassmen starting varsity along with five juniors/seniors. This was a significant highlight of my freshman year as I had never played the position of setter in my career. I ranked second in the Southeast Iowa Super conference with 766 assists and second in the State of Iowa amongst all freshmen across all classes. Earning 2nd Team All-Conference and All Hawkeye Team Honorable Mention honors. This experience has increased my confidence leading me to expand my skills required to play at the next level. I have been fortunate to play for various coaches (Club and Varsity) that have played and coached at the college level. This experience has provided dividends early in my volleyball career as I have learned the value of teamwork, commitment, sacrifice, and leadership. Academics is equally as important as athletics, and this will be very important to me with looking for the right program. I am confident in my abilities and have excelled at the highest levels in every sport that I have played. Getting selected as one of eighteen softball players to represent the Midwest at the 12U USSSA Softball All American Games in Florida further characterizes my athletic abilities. I have the talent, character, work-ethic, and leadership skills required to make an immediate impact on your program.
