Hi Coaches, my name is Alexa Perez-Huerta. I'm a senior at Estherville Lincoln Central High School in Estherville, Iowa I started playing volleyball in middle school and fell in love with the game instantly. The competition, the hard work and dedication you had to have to get through this game, and the mindset of the game because volleyball is a game of mistakes. Lucky for me getting the chance to try new things in middle school and going toward high school and how much of an impact the game of volleyball made in my life. In my junior year of high school, I realized that it would be pretty cool to play at the next level not just for the sport but also to meet new people and get to feel the intensity of a higher-level game.
