Personal Statement
I want to play college volleyball at the division II level. My last volleyball season was a very new and rewarding experience for me. My freshman and sophomore year, I was the only underclassman starter. This year, as a junior, I had to step up and take the lead role. I really enjoy leading by example. If my team is down, I strive to make a great play to turn it around. I believe that one girl can't make a team, we all have to work together as a unit.
My goals for my senior season in volleyball would be striving offensively. Last year, I led the conference in digs per set. I would love to lead in kills per set, also. I made first team all conference and the all district team. If my team makes it further in regionals and state next year, I feel I have a good chance at making the all-state team.
In college, I want to go on a team that I will challenge me and make me a better all-around volleyball player. I love playing front and back row left side. I have the willingness to work hard everyday on fundamentals, and during games I have the will power to go further than the competition. Everyday I want to improve.
