I'm a dedicated, goofy teenage girl who loves volleyball. I have been playing volleyball since the age of 8. Although I have had the opportunity to play on my club's top teams during my 12's, 14's, and 15's years, it was during my 13's year, when I truly decided that I was dedicated to my sport. I was placed on a lesser competitive team, a team where my coaches and teammates looked to me for leadership on and off the court. I had to be the glue to hold our team together. Through my experiences that year, I grew in responsibility, work ethic, leadership, and faith in God's plan for my life. I plan to continue working hard to get stronger and quicker, in hopes of playing at the collegiate level, indoor or beach.
In addition to training for playing on the court, I am very focused on my studies! I realize that my volleyball career will not last forever, so studying and focusing on completing high school at the highest academic level is one of my priorities right now. I am looking forward to continuing my education in college, striving to achieve a degree of which I am proud and can use to serve others in my future.
