Volleyball has allowed me to build confidence in myself to carry on and off the court.  It’s intense, competitive, frustrating, thrilling and absolutely fun. Volleyball is such a team environment, everyone must work together to find success and that’s a big reason why I love volleyball.  My teammates push me, challenge me and elevate me and I push, challenge and elevate my teammates.  I enjoy working out on my own and lifting, I have a focus on what I can control and what I can contribute to make my team more successful.  Achievements, along with disappointments, motivate me - I have faced both in volleyball and in school.  Hard work pays off, I’ve seen it on the court and in the classroom as I maintain my 3.9 GPA. I know I will continue to face challenges and disappointments, but I focus to keep my confidence and move forward to take the next right step.  I value my coaches and mentors, and never forget to appreciate the opportunities volleyball has provided. I ultimately realized how good volleyball makes me feel, how being part of a team has shaped me in my life.  I want to find a school to continue the joy, excitement and love of volleyball at the next level.
