Audrey Boban '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Audrey Boban. I have been playing volleyball for 7 years. The first time I played, I fell in love with this sport and was hooked. When I first started playing my only thought was to play the game that I love as much as I could and have fun. 

Now that I am heading into my Senior year,  I have made some big goals for myself. My biggest one is wanting to take my love and passion for this game and play at the collegiate level. In my sophomore year, I was ranked 1st in my school's conference and 11th in the State of IA for Sophmore Blocking, and 41st overall for Sophmore players. I was also named to the 2021 KMA HS all Sophmore team.

 I do play volleyball year-round, and play on 2 clubs during club season; Top Flight (USAV) out of Bellevue, NE, and Pink Panthers (AAU) out of Emerson, IA. I  have also played other sports like golf for my High School as well, and I participate in other nonsports activities like High School Honor Choir, FFA, and 4-H.

 I have been an assistant coach for younger girls in volleyball through our local YMCA, The Volleyball Academy, and have also helped with the elementary school volleyball and club too  I have volunteered with our County Aces summer program for youth ages 5-11 and have over 600+ community service hours. Last but not least I am a babysitter for a local family through the summers, teaching the kids swimming lessons and taking them on all kinds of activities and outings in our community.

My dream is to play volleyball in college and major in Dental Hygiene or become a Dentist. Once I graduate high school I would love to make my dream turn into a reality, and I will continue to strive towards that dream.
