Hello my names Abi Stroberg and a senior at Mason City High Scho. I love playing volleyball and get very competitive. I work hard and play harder. Taking the leader role and having good team spirit is very important to me. Previous team members have told me I was the glue that holds the team together. My focus is to play and have fun. I will be the one encouraging my team with a smile on my face.
I have worked ever season and summer attending volleyball camps (Wartburg College, University of Northern Iowa College, Waldorf College, NIACC College, Iowa State). I have worked hard to become the setter and hitter I am today. There have been opportunities for me to play with Iowa Heart being a right-side hitter and Albert Lea Volleyball Club as the setter. Both teams had taught me better skills that as advanced my playing. High School volleyball has provided a challenge that I have overcome. Sophomore year I decided to transfer to Mason City High School to provide me with better options. Not only does Mason City have a larger and more competitive volleyball league they also offer an AAU team on the off season.
