I have played volleyball since I was 9 and I have loved it ever since. I've had a lot of ups and downs throughout my career, but I truly believe success is not final and failure is not fatal. So, I let my success keep me positive and let my failure keep me hard working.
I believe three traits that make strong athletes are attitude, work ethic and, heart. My dad has always told me "hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard." I keep this in mind when a game or practice gets tough. I might not always be the most talented in a gym, but I will always be the girl working the hardest. I also pride myself on my attitude, I always try my best keep a positive attitude. To me, a negative attitude is never an option. I've had teammates frustrated with me because I'm always so happy, we could lose all of our games in a tournament but I don't let that get me down. I'm thankful because I got the opportunity to play the sport I love that day, and I get to go back to practice and get better.
