Zoe Rus '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Zoe Rus and I’m a right-handed outside hitter in my senior year at Underwood High School in Underwood, Iowa. I’ve been a varsity starter since my freshman year. I’ve been playing volleyball since 3rd grade and between Club and HS, I play nearly year-round. I am very passionate about volleyball but as a multi-sport athlete, if I had the opportunity, I would also love to throw shot put in college. I plan to continue growing as a player and as a student and would love to have the opportunity to further my athletic career and play at the collegiate level. I’m a leader in the classroom and on the court. I bring a lot of energy and positive attitude to the game and I focus on being coachable so that I can continue to grow as a player. I am hardworking and determined, qualities that I believe make me a good candidate for any team.
