Abby Knoop '17 Recruiting Profile

Sports have been a big part of my life since about the 4th grade. At this point in my life, as I'm looking at future plans, I can't imagine not having games, practices & lifting along with school. I am very competitive, a leader on my teams with my ability & my personality. I have played all around for my high school team, starting on the varsity team beginning my freshman year. Some of my best friends are the ones that I'm on the court with. I take pride in my accomplishments both in sports and academics. I have taken advantage of college courses offered at my high school, and I'm proud to say that I'll have a full year of college credits when I graduate next year.

I also run track for my high school as well, qualifying for the Drake Relays & State the past three years in the shuttle hurdle relay event. Other events I'm in are the 4x200, 4x400 and 100 meter hurdles.

I will be participating in the Junior Nationals in Indianapolis June 28-July 1 playing for Iowa Rockets Black, wearing #10.
