Thank you for taking time to read my personal statement. My goal is to be a great student and play volleyball at the collegiate level.
College Goals: I want to find a team that works hard to win on and off the court and supports each other through the good and bad. Education is very important to me and my goal is to maintain my 4.0 GPA while pursuing my studies in the Field of Medicine. I give my heart and soul to my education and my team and I plan to bring these aspects to the college level.
Good candidate for your program: I am coachable and a good teammate. I have been voted captain for the past three years by my peers on my club team. Personal and team improvement is important to me, and I work to be a strong leader which I continue to learn a lot about each season. My coaches set high expectations and I challenge myself to beat those expectations and encourage my teammates to do the same.
Why I'm different from other candidates: I see the best in others. I have learned to put 100% effort toward the things I do. I stand by my values, which isn't always easy. I set meaningful goals for myself and work hard to achieve them. In my personal life I like to help our neighbors, make widow baskets at Christmas, and hang out with my friends. Some of my school achievements are Student of the Month, working towards my Biliteracy in Spanish Seal, NAIA Sportsmanship Award, and I am a FCA member.
