My name is Penelope Johnson, and I am a Freshmen at Southeastern Community College. I am currently earning my AA degree and wanting to major in business, management, or IT.
Volleyball has been a big part of life for the past five years. I want to pursue my volleyball career to the sky. I like to push myself a past my limits because that's where I start to grow and learn the most. I aspire to be a well-rounded volleyball player, furthermore, attaining a wide range of skills. My aspirations of wanting to be a solid player are being supported every day, may it be practice, lifting, eating, working or in the class. I a m 2 inches away from the 10ft club and I plan to make it by November.
I want to be a part of a team that has high energy and drive to win and improve. When I push to improve, I try not only to improve and work in myself I get my teammates involved because there is no way we can reach the finish line goal if only half is on track.
My mom was my first coach and what she always told me was "why are you here if you aren't going to go for the ball?" That has always stuck with me because I know every day why I walk on the court and why I push myself to get every ball.
