Since the age of eight when I stepped onto a volleyball court for the first time, I have been in love with the sport. Volleyball has given me an outlet to show my abilities and encourage others along the way. I have been captain and co-captain several seasons, and while that title is special to me that's not what matters. What matters to me is that no matter what every time I am playing on the court I encourage and help my teammates as often as possible. I strive to play every game as if it is my last. I try to shine my light of Jesus through my life including in volleyball. While volleyball is important to me, I realize that academics matter just as much. I want to become an English Teacher and that is one of my main goals in life. I balance my social life with academics and volleyball to the best of my ability. As you are looking at my profile I hope you see that volleyball is something very dear to my heart and I really hope to be able to be play in college to accomplish my dream I have always hoped for. As I have grown up watching volleyball I have always aspired to be one of those "awesome college girls" so my only hope is to become someone another little girl can look up to some day.
