Volleyball has been my favorite way to spend time since I was twelve years old. As I have played, I have strived for success on the volleyball court, but I have learned it takes more than ability. I believe Derek Jeter's words when he said, "There may be people that have more talent than you, but there's no excuse for anyone to work harder than you do." This quote guides all that I do, whether it's my academics or athletics.

No one on the court works harder than I do. Any coach I have played for would tell you that I am highly coachable with a great attitude. No matter how hard the game gets, you'll never see "quit" on my face. Working hard isn't easy, but it's what I do all the time, every time.

I want to attend college and earn a college degree in biology, and I would like to do that while continuing to play the sport I love--volleyball. I will play hard for you, listen to all you teach me, and help lead my team to higher success.
