2024 SpotlightPersonal Statement
As a 5’11” setter with a passion for volleyball, I am dedicated to continuous growth and excellence both on and off the court. Over my freshman and sophomore high school Varsity seasons, I recorded over 1,000 assists, breaking my school’s single-season and single-match assist records, as well as the single-match kill record. My team tied our record for total season match wins in both years. These achievements reflect my commitment to hard work, strategic play, and leadership in high-pressure situations.
Since 6th grade, I have competed at the highest level in Club volleyball, playing in the Open Division. This experience has honed my skills against elite competition, preparing me to contribute to a collegiate program with the same intensity, discipline, and determination.
In the classroom, I hold a 4.1 GPA, reflecting my commitment to academic success and time management. Balancing a rigorous academic schedule with my athletic responsibilities has taught me discipline and focus qualities I bring to every aspect of my life. I am eager to pursue a program that values both athletic and academic excellence, where I will contribute to the team and grow as a student-athlete.
