Nicole Bentz '24 Recruiting Profile

I am currently a sophomore at Assumption High School in Louisville KY. I have been playing school volleyball since I was in 4th grade and club volleyball for the last 5 to 6 years. I began primarily as a middle hitter/blocker but have been moved to outside and OPP over the last few years. I began club volleyball on the regional teams at KIVA, but moved to the national teams starting 3 years ago. Each year I have moved up in the KIVA national squads from 16/17 black, to 17 black, and this year to 17 white. As a 15 year old I played with the older girls in the under 17 leagues. I am mobile and I have experienced nearly all volleyball positions. I am energetic and deeply enjoy being a member of our school and club teams with many talented young women. Playing on a team and serving as an integral member of these teams is an exciting and challenging role that I enjoy deeply and to which I am firmly committed. My academic pursuits in high school have been rewarding and I have embraced my sports and academic opportunities. With my deepening passion for volleyball and my academics, I have evolved and improved greatly in my performance in both of these endeavors. I look forward to joining a college volleyball team as an excited and energetic athlete and student.
