I am a versatile, agile, passionate player who enjoys every facet of the Volleyball sport. My enthusiasm and passion for the game is infectious amongst everyone I play with. My ability to perform with grit, tenacity, and resiliency has been commended by several coaches throughout my career, and I have been referred to as the “Rudy” of this sport. My desire is to dominate and thrive in academics as well as sports throughout my high school career with the intent of playing one day at a Division I school.
I understand that to excel in this sport I must apply consistency and discipline which is why I train my body and mind to grow every day by challenging my limits and setting daily, weekly, and monthly goals for myself. I have a winning attitude that revolves around the dynamics of my team, and I refuse to get offended when things do not go perfectly, but instead, I choose to refocus and harness my energy into the next challenge that I may face. I do not believe that we lose, but instead we “win” and we “learn”. Life provides us with lessons that can be applied to our next test, and if we are humble enough to apply those lessons, we will be more prepared. I believe the sky is the limit and your potential is only marginalized when you allow it to be, which is why I constantly seek self-improvement and attempt to inspire those around me to achieve their goals.
