Personal Statement

I have been playing volleyball for three years now. Since I first stepped on the court, I knew I had found my passion. I am still very new to the sport, but that just means I am willing to soak up everything you will teach me. I know that playing in college is a great accomplishment and an amazing opportunity, that I would do anything and everything to obtain.

I have the ability to block and create offensive attacks, but my strongest asset to the game is my defense and passing. I prefer a standing float serve, but I am open to attempting anything. I can spot serve pretty accurately. I think of myself as a team leader, and someone who is always there to encourage their teammates. I am very coachable,  I love constructive criticism.  I strive to be a hard working player consistently, and hopefully one of the hardest working recruits you’ll find.

In the classroom, I have maintained a high GPA and have gotten their by studying hard. I am currently a member in the Interact club, PALS, Outing club, and Yearbook.  I also work for Target, and Topsham Parks and Recreation. I volunteer for the community as much as my schedule allows.

I want to attend a college where I can excel in the classroom and on the court. I will be working towards my degree in Athletic Training. I want to find the right college match that can allow me to achieve all my dreams. I am excited for what my future will hold.
