I've had a deep love and understanding of volleyball ever since I joined my first team at the age of ten. I've developed my technical abilities in serving, passing, setting, hitting, and blocking via years of practice and competitive play. My discipline, hard work, and dedication to growing as a person and a team member have all been highly appreciated by my trainers. I've never shied away from putting in the effort, constantly looking for methods to improve my game knowledge and skill.
I have a number of attributes that, in addition to my technical skills, make me an excellent prospect for college volleyball. I naturally take on the role of captain in my teams since I believe I am a natural leader. I am an outspoken supporter on the court and constantly support my teammates.
Lastly, I recognize that being a collegiate athlete demands excellent time management skills and a dedication to achieving academic success. I have worked hard to achieve academic success my entire time in school, keeping consistently good marks while juggling the demands of training, competition, and my extracurricular activities, such as several band ensembles. I am certain that I will be able to successfully juggle the demanding requirements of being a student-athlete with achieving academic excellence at your university.
