Alexis Banks '13 Recruiting Profile

My name is Alexis Banks , I am currently a Junior at Baltimore Talent Development High School. I am very determined and I perservere in everything that I strive to do. I am a member of the Southwestern's Athletic program , and I occupy my time by playing Volleyball And running Track and Field. I compete against other schools across the Baltimore City/County Area. And if I must say the 2010-2011 Varsity Volleyball Season has had a GREAT turnout. My freshman year In high school , was my very first year ever playing Volleyball. But as practice went on , by the beginning of playoffs i made it to Varsity. i am the FIRST  Freshman In Baltimore Talent Development to make it To varsity Volleyball their freshman year. I was team Captain of The Junior varsity Southwestern Sabers Volleyball team , And also made MVP my freshman year.  The leadership role giving to me as a JV player , gave me a better experience for when i became a varsity Player. Athletics is not the only thing that i am strong in. Education is #1 . I recently recieved a certificate for making Principal's list because of Having a Grade point Average of 90 & above. College stands for me as a key to a better life. The More education you have , the better it is to further your goals. I am looking for a school that can give me the challenges that i need to make me a better player and student. I will be majoring In Forensic Science. I am open to many different types of schools. My goal is to go to a school in ANY region. Because my thought on it is  "Its not what school You go to that is important ,But it's what you make out of it , And decide to do with the education and oppurtunities that have been giving to you."  I am 5'5 in height , 115 lbs in weight. And ready to take on any challenges that may come my way. I am requesting Finacial assistance/ resources.  I started My freshman year of High school , and will continue playin until My senior year. And when it comes to college i will strive to do the same.
