Hi my name is Ava Cohen. I only started playing volleyball freshman year as in the years before I had played many different sports. After starting playing volleyball, it stuck. I had no other sport on my mind. Throughout the years I worked my way up to varsity improving my skills each step away. My coach is still blown away at the player I have become, having know me when I was an eager freshman. I have been voted most improved player many times and am a great asset to my team on and off the court. I am a very teachable player and am always looking for different opinions to help improve my skill.
My love for volleyball grew and I began playing club volleyball 3 years ago. When thinking about college, I can‘t imagine my life without volleyball. I am looking for a school that challenges me both acedemically and athletically so I can push my skills to the next level. Maintaining my 4.0 gpa along with continuing community service work is very important to me. My love for the sport and strive to be a great teammate will make me a great asset to your team, and college. I cannot wait to help make an impact.
