Kirstyn Lothschultz '25 Recruiting Profile

I've played volleyball for 7 years for school and 5 years for Far out where last year I was on their 17 gold national team. I am currently playing for Tenacity 17 Royal this club season . I have transitioned from middle hitter to outside pin hitter recently. I still play a lot of middle in high school due to our team not having many middles, but coach Balcom gets me a lot of time outside hitting. This past 2023 varsity season I was voted team MVP. Some other achievements I made this year was 1st team all conference, 1st team all area, 1st team all all region ,and team academic All state.   It has always been a goal of mine to continue playing in college. I'm very athletic and have been my entire life. That includes softball that I have played for school since I was 6 years old ,and for travel teams since I was 9. I have played many other sports but dropped them throughout the years . During my sophomore year I had to make the tough decision on leaving softball due to scheduling conflicts, and I chose to focus more on volleyball. I bring positivity and energy to the court. I am also able to provide encouragement to pick up my teammates when needed. I am a very hard working person who pushes themselves to do their best not only in volleyball, but also in school. I have always had good grades throughout school. I'm currently in a few AP classes and I plan to take more throughout my last few years of high school. I am currently undecided on what major I want to go to school for, but am leaning toward becoming an ultrasound tech.  Thank you for taking the time to read this.
