Bobbie Eastman '14 Recruiting Profile

My top goal right now is to earn a spot on a college volleyball team. I don't know exactly what I want to do for a career, but I know that excelling at volleyball has helped me in all other aspects of my life. Since I became a key player for my teams, my grades have improved, I have more self confidence, and I can reach most any goal I set for myself. I love volleyball because it is truly a team sport. I had a great experience this year on my varsity team. We set three goals for our team and met all of them; win all of our league matches in three, win districts, win regionals. The first goal was tough, several of us are planning to play in college, and this goal did not give us the best stats in our league, but we did it. Winning districts and regionals this year was very emotional, and I learned a lot about myself. I was part of a team that was full of selfless players, all trying to do what was best for the team. I was able to perform at my best, and contribute to what was truly a team win. I have learned to not only strive to be my best but also to encourage others to do their best. I have interest in art, fitness and business, I believe no matter what I decide to do for a career the experiences from volleyball will make me successful.
