My name is Kaitlynn Bennett. I am a Sophmore in college and play as a Middle Blocker at Muskegon Community College. I have played varsity volleyball since I was a freshman but have been playing the sport since 5th grade. I played middle as a freshman then transfered to outside hitter my sophomore year and have been an outside until this year as I am going to back to play as a middle. I have also played all the way around since my sophomore year, although defensive specialist is not my position of choice, I do love to pass and especially serve receive. As a hitter I can terminate the ball from anywhere on the court but also can find the open spots on the opponents side and send it there for a kill. I have also played club volleyball for multiple different organizations as an outside hitter. I have been able to play on a team almost my whole life and I know what it means to be a great teammate. As a teammate I am energetic, encouraging, coachable, hardworking, and have been a leader for my team on and off the court. I want the best for everyone on my team and strive to push them to be the best they can be. As for my academics I am a student who has excelled in the classroom and I have a 3.95/4.00 GPA. I am a student-athlete and I understand how important academics are. I aspire to be an Architectural Interior Designer and will work hard to get there, but one of my biggest goals is being able to play volleyball at the next level in college.
