Hannah Fisher '23 Recruiting Profile

I am a dedicated Libero from northern Michigan, though I’ve had the opportunity to play other positions.  In the past 6 years, I’ve overcame many obstacles, grown tremendously & learned I can accomplish anything with constant hard work.  I now possess a starting position on varsity.

Growing up, I tried soccer, basketball, and gymnastics but never felt a connection with any of them. It was then at a 6th grade open gym, I fell in love with volleyball and never looked back.  In the beginning, I was extremely shy & inexperienced (barely could pass/serve).  I realized my options were to either work harder to achieve my goals or quit; I decided to work harder.  I started playing year around (school, club, beach), attending summer camps & joined the gym because I love volleyball that much.  I have played for Alpine Force, NorthShore, and currently I play for Avalanche Volleyball Club & Gaylord High School.  I would absolutely love to play volleyball at a college level while working toward my secondary education degree.
