I have been playing volleyball for 4 going on 5 years. During that time, my mother was diagnosed with leukemia, my parents got divorced and my father passed away in October of 2022. Volleyball and going to the gym was and still is my way of meeting new people, escaping the troubles of regular life and becoming more fit. Being physically active is very important to me and I hope to make varsity volleyball this year as the next step in my volleyball journey. Another thing that's super important to me is keeping up with good grades. Good grades will get me into a good college to pursue my dreams of being a doctor. I’m currently out of our season for an injury. I have surgery in two weeks and have a 6-8 week recovery.
