My name is Ava Acre, I am positive on and off the court. My goal is to attend college and play volleyball. I am a team player. The team means everything to me. Being part of a team is amazing in so many ways. The team is your second family. Your teammates are your best friends, and I want that in college. Being dyslexic I struggle more than everyone else, and that makes me work 10 times harder. I have to try harder at everything I do. Being dyslexic has made me the person I am today. I never give up even when things are hard. I always give it my all every time I’m on the court. I work hard at practice, private lessons, and even harder at games. I have a great work mentality. When I get a correction I fix it right way, always learning is a must. I am a outside/ middle hitter. I love being the last one to touch the ball. I love the feeling of getting the point for our team, and the smiles it brings to my team. I love having a positive impact on everyone on and off the court. Win or lose give it your all and trying is what matters most.
