I am very enthusiastic and passionate about volleyball and it is a dream of mine to play at a collegiate level. I am taking many honors classes and am as dedicated to my schoolwork as I am to the sport. I would love to attend a college that has demanding academics along with a competitive volleyball program.
I have been playing for seven years almost all as a setter and right side. For the past few seasons though, I have switched to being an outside hitter and I love playing there! I have been team captain on many of the teams that I have played on. I am very hardworking and motivated to achieve my goals. I improve every year that I play and cannot wait to see where I will be at the end of senior year!
I am also very involved in my community. I was identified as a leader within my school and was accepted into the program Youth Leadership Toledo, now as a Junior I am in Youth in Philanthropy Encouraging Excellence (YIPEE). I am in several clubs as well. I am very supportive of others and love to help people. With that, comes my interest in psychology. I am not set on it yet but going into that field is my plan. I hope to find a school with a great psychology program and driven volleyball team.
