Lucy Monahan '26 Recruiting Profile

One thing I bring to the court, outside of my skills,(eat live breath volleyball) is that I am a fun person (I think) to be around. I have many interests, and I am the baby of 3 older siblings, and so I am pretty laid back and go with the flow. I am good with change, I adapt, but all the while I am laughing and having a good time. I have NEVER had a bad experience with a coach, and I am really proud to say that. I have NEVER had a "dram club team" and I have heard stories of how terrible this is! I love being with my teams, I know my coaches are trying to make us better. I love music, the outdoors, my pets- I love school-- and I give all my energy to what I do. I work hard, but I also have fun! I have to balance this or life will stress us out. 

I bring my all and I work hard at being a positive role model in sports, in my community, and at school. I am always looking to my coaches to give me feedback on how I can help myself and my team improve. 

Being active not only in volleyball allows me to be well balanced, I participate in student council, National Honor Society, yearbook, orchestra, as well as a 4H teen leader and camp counselor, and I maintain a 4.0GPA. Academically, I am interested in degrees in engineering or medical sciences.
