In my six years of playing volleyball, I've come to realize how important the sport is to me. Not only does it help me become a better athlete but it also helped me become a better person. In my sophomore year during my travel team Atomic, we were against a better team. It was in the third game and we were close, on game point. My team mates finally came together after not knowing each other for a long and pushed each other to our best. Hitting the game point ball and having your team mates jump on you and cheer for you was a feeling like no other.
Volleyball has changed my life for the better. It helps me open up to new people and become uncomfortable all the time. It pushes me to my breaking point but I still love it. I may not be the tallest middle or have the highest jumps but I am one of the loudest, energetic people on the court. Even if we're losing badly, I will keep up the positive attitude. I will always strive to become better than yesterday!
