Payton Vance '27 Recruiting Profile

I've been playing volleyball since I was in 4th grade and what drew me towards it first was that my friends did it, but now I've grown to love it myself. Ever since then, I've dreamt about playing at the next level. I thrive in a competitive atmosphere and perform my best under pressure. I love how much my current team has grown as a family and I've watched how close college teams are, that is something I dream to be a part of. Even though volleyball is my pride and passion I like to do other things to keep me grounded. I also run track which I love very much, I value my family and friend time, and I will never turn down shopping, exploring, cosmetics, reading, working out, baking, or making fun coffees. I pride myself on bringing energy to the court, being a good teammate, and always lifting up my teammates. I plan on attending college for something medical, preferably sonography, or nursing. In the future after college, I see myself as either an ultrasound tech or a labor and delivery nurse living in my own cute studio apartment and exploring the world around me.
