Being on the Varsity team freshman year was a turning point in my volleyball career. It made me believe in myself and get excited about advancing my volleyball opportunities. Between playing Varsity and playing Club for many years, I have developed a strong passion for this sport and seeing how much I can achieve with hard work and dedication. My 16s year my Club team took 2nd place in Nationals, and I'm looking forward to training and improving even more for the next year. Now looking forward, I am excited for the opportunity to bring all that to a college team and its program. Being named Captain of my high school team for both my Junior and Senior years, I learned the value and importance of leadership and positive attitude, which I look forward to bringing to a college volleyball program.
The academic aspect of college is just as important to me as the volleyball program I hope to participate in. Being an honors student, I understand it takes drive, commitment, and applying myself to achieve the high goals that I have set. I like to challenge myself athletically as well as academically. By always seeing the opportunity for improvement, I am able to recognize ways to improve my skills every single day. These opportunities have directly lead to my strength and performance on the court and in the classroom. Through my passion and leadership skills, I can bring my talents to the college volleyball program as an individual as well as a teammate.
