Lauren Dolton '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Lauren Dolton and I'm a 5'9" outside hitter from Shoreview, MN. I've been playing volleyball since the fourth grade and throughout that time I have found a love for the sport that nothing in my life compares to. I'm dedicated to my teams and am very driven to constantly improve. I have played all of the hitting positions for various teams, my secondary position being right side hitter. I have worked a lot throughout the years on not only my skills but my mental game. I consider myself to be a team player, realizing that no one player can win the game. I have a 4.0 GPA and have worked very hard to maintain good grades throughout my high school career. I am looking for a school where I can find a balance between being a student and being a player. I am thinking about becoming a physician assistant, so my desired major is pre-physician assistant, or something similar that would allow me to pursue that career. I have always planned on going to college after high school, but playing college volleyball is something that I have dreamed about from the first time I watched a college game.
