I will be a 2023 graduate from Mankato West High School. I play for MN Attack volleyball club and have been playing since 13s. I played on the C-squad team and sat B-squad in 8th grade. The summer before 9th grade, I switched to one of the public schools in town for more competitive classes, grading, and sports. My grades have always been my number one priority and will continue to be as I challenge myself with PSEO and AP courses. I would like to study nutritional sciences and dietetics in college. I started playing volleyball in 3rd grade at the YMCA. Volleyball has allowed me to meet friends and has also allowed me to mentally mature and learn how to preserve many challenges. It has also helped me learn to have commitment and determination both on and off the court. Last year I decided to join my dad at a local Crossfit gym as a way to stay in shape during the offseason and I have grown to appreciate how it has not only physically improved my ability to play but mentally allowed me to push harder than I thought I could, especially in games when presented with a challenging opponent. It is a dream of mine to play college volleyball and I will continue to work my hardest to achieve it.
