Sydney Cox '20 Recruiting Profile

I want my college experience to include a high level of academics as well as the opportunity to play volleyball at the collegiate level. I do not yet have a predetermined major. I am a diverse player, I can be thrown into any position and play it to the best of my ability. I am a multi sport athlete so I understand the commitment and dedication that it takes to be a player, as well as being able to balance sports with academics. The term "student athlete" is an expectation that I hold for myself. Some characteristics that set me apart are: I am hardworking on and off the courts, I can step up to leadership positions, I have a positive personality, work well with others, being competitive while enjoying the game, coachable, and a fast learner. Many of the traits that are previously listed I apply to my academics. I am no stranger to having to prove myself to earn my place.
