I really became interested in playing volleyball because of my dad. He was the head coach, and I wasn’t old enough to play sports yet, but the highlight of my day was always when I got go to practice with him. I really felt at home and excited when I was at the gym. To this day I feel the same way every time I walk through the gym doors. Something I have really learned about myself through volleyball is that when I get down or have a bad play I just have to get back up and keep trying no matter what! Some of my academic goals in high school are to graduate with a 3.8 or higher GPA and be in the top 10 of my class! In college my top goal is to find a career that fits me and that I am passionate about. Playing volleyball in college has been a dream/goal of mine recently, because I never thought it was possible for me to achieve what I have these last few years. I am a team player. I have a positive attitude and bring energy to the court through talking and encouraging my teammates. I enjoy being part of a team that works together. I truly believe that a team can achieve more if they work together as a team and not as individuals. God has definitely blessed me with the talent and opportunity to play volleyball!
