Calli Thomas '26 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Calli Thomas. I will be a Junior at Pearl High School this next school year 2024-2025 in Pearl, MS.  I've played volleyball since my 7th Grade year.  I also played Club ball with Infinity Volleyball Academy a year ago.  We've been unable to join again due to cost since it's just my mom and me, but I do continue to have one on one lessons with the coach I had at Infinity.   I like to try and perfect my position and I've been working on learning all positions in hopes to play all 6 rotations this coming school year or possibly my senior year.  I fell in love with this sport as soon as I tried it, it's like volleyball and I just click.   I'm always working hard to improve myself outside of practice or just hitting the ball in the backyard with my mom or little brother.  In school ball I was placed as a Right side hitter, but with club I played Middle as well as outside hitter.  I am always open to learning and willing to work hard.  I believe in setting goals for myself and work hard to reach them.  Once I feel I've reached a goal I set a new one.  My mom always tells me and my little brother to be coachable and be willing to listen and learn, greatness doesn't come from laziness. 

One of the goals I've set for myself is to one day play at college level and I am steadily working to reach that goal.
