Emily Payton '25 Recruiting Profile

I've been playing volleyball since i was in the 6th grade. Ever since I stepped on the court I knew then I wanted to play college volleyball. I know playing at the collegiate level is a once in a lifetime opportunity that could impact my whole life. 

Even when I do not get playing time  I will do my best to cheer from the bench. I’m a good candidate because I have a great attitude and when I’m determined to do something I’ll most likely won’t stop until I do it. When I am on the court I try to be the best team leader and try to lead by example while also encouraging my teammates.I am very coachable an strive to be one of the hardest working players and one of the hardest recruits you'll find.

In the classroom, I try to the best of my ability to to maintain good grades. I also help out with out camps when we do youth camps.

I want to attend a college where I can push myself in class and on the court. I am open for all options and want to ultimately find the right college match and also find a college coach I’ll grow to love one. I hope to become a great model to all my peers and make my parents proud.
