My name is Katelyn MacDonald. I am a libero, defensive specialist, opposite, and I am 5’5” and 145lbs. In my first season, I was a starting opposite and played all the way around on the varsity volleyball team. Due to a severe ankle sprain in the beginning of my sophomore year, I was forced to switch to defensive specialist. By my junior year, I was back better than before and I was made the team captain and libero. I knew it was my ambition to play volleyball in college as a freshman from a little community in North-Eastern Montana. Not only was volleyball one of my goals, but I always wanted to go into Nursing to be a local Trauma Nurse. I am currently a CNA and always learning. I’ve always excelled in school being one of the top of my class always getting straight A’s. My entire life has been spent participating in sports, although I have only played volleyball since the seventh grade. One of the sports that simply naturally came to me was volleyball, and i have been in love with it ever since. I have a great sense of enthusiasm and I enjoy seeing others achieve.
