2018 HighlightsPersonal Statement
I'm a senior at Eureka County High School in Eureka Nevada. Eureka is a very rural town and I've had to overcome several challenges that come with playing volleyball in a small town. There is no club volleyball within 200 miles so I've had to improvise to improve and to keep my volleyball skills sharp. I train and practice volleyball every morning before school at 4am. I also travel hundreds of miles to train with other volleyball coaches/teams and I attend as many college showcase/training camps that I can. I've learned to play with every level of volleyball athlete and how to adapt well to change. Being from a small town may have its sport's disadvantages but it's made me work hard for everything that I've accomplished. I take NOTHING for granted and every day I take time to thank God for giving me the ability to play volleyball because I know it can be taken away at any time. If I'm fortunate to play for your team in 2019, you will get a hard working, committed athlete.
