My name is Sydney Lobato, and I am a setter for the class of 2018. I've played many sports ranging from soccer to swimming but from the moment I stepped on the court I knew volleyball was the sport for me. I never have felt the passion and love that I have for volleyball in any other sport.
I am a well-rounded athlete on and off the court. I care very much about my grades and I am an excellent student with an unweighted 4.08 GPA. I am taking all honors courses in high school and I was the valedictorian at my middle school. I participate in community service both in school and through the National Charity League organization. I am also taking AP courses and will continue with those in the future to further prepare me for college.
I am running a 5-1 offense and I am a team leader and motivator. I am searching for a college that will give me the perfect blend of high-level volleyball and academic excellence. I love to compete both athletically and academically. The lessons that I am learning through athletics about commitment, perseverance, and teamwork should benefit me for the rest of my life. I play, practice, and study at 110% ALWAYS.
