Autumn Spendlove '18 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Autumn Spendlove. I have played club volleyball since third grade. I have also played in other club sports such as dance, basketball, soccer and swim. Although I have played other sports, I chose to concentrate on volleyball because I enjoy the challenges of the game and everyday life lessons I learn associating with my teammates.  I know that through hard work and working together as a team with positive leadership we can succeed.  I also am a member of the varsity swim team for the last two years.  I plan to letter all 4 years in swim. Sports have always helped me to stay on top of my grades and to get involved with school activities. As I go to college I hope to study and graduate with a degree in psychology. I feel that I can give back to the community and help others through my education. I love to be with my friends, I am very social. My friends tell me that I am funny and always happy. My friends tell me that I am a good example to them through my actions. I am involved with student council and church activities.  I enjoy being in the outdoors and traveling. Even though I participate in many activities, I manage my time well because I understand the importance of an education. Throughout my high school year, I've been in all honors and AP classes. Nothing in life is just given to you. I would say that I am very time manageable and I always get my work done. Setting goals and working towards them have helped me succeed throughout my life. I am looking forward to college and this next phase in my life.
