Roe Beland '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Roe Jamey Beland and I am apart of the class of 2026 at Portsmouth High School. I have played for 603 United Volleyball for 3 years now and am court captain of my high school varsity team. I have achieved the "Clippers Award" demonstrating leadership and excellence. I have now made AAU All Tournament Team four times in this past season, was selected for the JVA 2024 girls to watch list, named MVP for my 16s club team, selected for the AVCA Phenom Watch List, and made Division 1 2nd team All-State. Coaches describe me as someone who is extremely dynamic, and driven, takes authority when needed, and is optimistic not only on the court but in the classrooms as well. I constantly strive to be better for myself and my teammates so I can display my best abilities on the court. I run a tri-middle for my high school team, playing 6 rotations as a middle, rightside, and outside. I bring a high level of work ethic and expectations of excellence to the team. I push myself and yearn for feedback. Every day I get up wanting to grow my skill and on days I feel like quitting I remind myself, this is where most people stop, so I keep going.
