2022 SpotlightPersonal Statement
My name is Taylor Miller from Haworth, NJ and volleyball is my passion. I was very active in youth sports but playing volleyball has become my heart’s desire even though I still play for the HS varsity basketball and track teams.
I balance my athletic and academic commitments as a 3-sport varsity athlete while maintaining a 4.0 GPA. In the winter I play club volleyball and HS varsity basketball spending 5+ hrs. practicing and training in addition to my studies. I am highly driven and self-motivated believing this regimen will acclimate me for the work ethic required by an elite NCAA athlete playing at a high college level.
I am looking for the right college offering both academic excellence and a highly competitive volleyball program where I can be an integral contributing team member.
