My collegiate goals are to study engineering and psychology, play volleyball at a college level, and achieve fluency in Korean; my native language. I started playing volleyball when I was in 7th grade. When I first played, it was a hobby of mine, but as I grew older, I had more intense feelings about pursuing it at a college level. I believe I would make a good candidate because of my tenacity, flexibility on the court, quick reflexes, and flow, and I am a good team player. Volleyball has been there for me during an immensely difficult time in my life; while I was leaning on the sport, I learned more about myself, gained confidence surrounding my abilities, and clarity towards my future goals.
