Emily Hauptvogel '24 Recruiting Profile

I started soccer in kindergarten and I always thought of it as what I wanted to do as I grow up, but when I was introduced to volleyball it all changed. I went from learning how to play, to playing for my middle school team, to starting club, to playing varsity as a freshman. I think all of my hard work really does pay off in the end. My biggest goal is to continue my academic and athletic careers in college. I take my sport very seriously and I put all of my focus into learning and getting better. I will always be a team player and dedicate my work to my team. School is an important part in my life and I always give my best effort to every subject. I consider myself a big asset to both my school and club team. As a captain of my school volleyball team, I lead upperclassmen and underclassmen to success. I received the Rookie of the Year Award my freshman year, along with my varsity letter; my junior year I received my Three Year Letterman Award, along with the MVP award; and as a senior, I broke the career kills record for my school.
