Volleyball is my passion and I since I began my athletic journey, it has always been my goal to play the sport at a competitive level that will push my limits and make me the best I can possibly be. I feel that playing as a collegiate athlete would not only fulfill my dreams, but also teach me important lessons of athleticism, sportsmanship, and diligence.
On the court, I am both aggressive and strategical in my attacking and defending. I always push to make good decisions in game that will benefit my team. I am very talkative and am able to communicate with my teammates so that plays are able to run smoothly.
My volleyball journey only consists of playing for club teams because the high school I attend does not have a volleyball team. However, I am extremely committed to the sport and have tried numerous times to work with my athletic department and kick-start a high school volleyball program. For now, I am involved in the recreational after-school volleyball club and will continue to work on founding a volleyball program at my high school.
As I am with volleyball, I always push myself to be the best I can be with my academics. Throughout my freshman and sophomore years, I have taken all honors and AP classes. I put my studies first and always make sure I am working hard to maintain high grades. Continuing my education somewhere that can match my level of academics is very important to me.
I am looking forward to what may come in the future and finding the right fit for me to continue my academic and athletic journeys throughout college.
