Destiny Betts '14 Recruiting Profile

I am 5'11 and 175  pounds, a senior currently attending New Brunswick High School in New Jersey. I am captain of the Varsity Volleyball team for 3 years. My positions are Outside and Middle hitter and defensive Blocker. I am quick on my feet and a strong server and powerful Middle blocker. I also keep myself active in other sports such as basketball and softball. I have been playing Basketball at the Varsity level for 3 years and as a captain. My position is  Center and I am ranked one of the top centers in the county.  I love playing sports and I want to play college volleyball at a competitive level.

I want to attend a college where I can apply myself in the classroom and on the court. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a great role model to all my peers and make my parents proud.  In the classroom, I study hard and maintain my GPA. I also volunteer at local volleyball camps and am currently a member of our Play It Smart Volunteering program.
