Sophia Delgado '28 Recruiting Profile

Hi! My name is Sophia Delgado and I just entered as a freshman in Monmouth Regional High School. I have been playing volleyball ever since I was nine as a local beach volleyball club player for shore beach club NJ. I am now turning 14 this August and trying out for two travel teams this season. I have participated in Garden State Attack this year for volleyball and I've been everywhere in New Jersey, upstate New York, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania this past year. i am very passionate about this sport and I ever do others to stay in shape for the season. I think what makes me different from other recruits in character is that despite of my height and my position I don't let any other peoples advantages get in my way while I'm playing. I always try my best to be a great student athlete. I mostly get A's an B's throughout my whole school year and if I ever need help with anything I'm not afraid to ask for help and thats a good trait about me because I opened to everything.
